Qlik updates
All important updates of 2023
As 2023 draws to a close, it’s time to look back at some of the most notable new features added to Qlik Data Analytics products over the past year.
February 2023 | Qlik Sense
More styling and animation options for different visualizations, including bar and line graphs. It is now also possible to adjust the grid to the desired size for more flexibility and add background images.
May 2023 | Qlik Sense
Individual visualizations can now also be provided with background images. Filter boxes have been given additional layout options, such as displaying them as a grid, which allows them to be used as a toolbar. A new object is the flat table in the custom objects, which can be used as a custom report. This allows users to easily compose and sort their own measures and dimensions.
August 2023 | Qlik Sense
In bar charts it is now possible to display measurements based on a condition. Previously only possible in table visualizations, the bar chart has now become much more flexible. In addition, the toolbar and title bar on sheets can now be hidden.
November 2023 | Qlik Sense
The latest release includes two new visualizations. A new text object (in the Dashboard bundle) with more styling options and the ability to insert tables; and a line object that visually separates elements on the sheet. In line charts, it is also now possible to display measures conditionally.
Qlik Cloud Analytics
In addition to the above-mentioned updates for Qlik Sense, Qlik Cloud also contains a number of additional (new) functionalities. Firstly, scripts as an independent object in the HUB, which can be used to save tables in QVD format, for example. The editor now includes a data preview function, which provides more insight into the transformations. Collections can now be published and shared, making it easier for users to create their own HUB. Collections can consist of apps, visualizations, scripts, etc. This makes it easy to present data in a clear manner.
