An introduction to…
Dommerholt Advocaten is a full-service law firm with offices in Apeldoorn, Heerenveen and Zwolle. The company focuses on the business market and, with more than 30 lawyers, has all the specialisms in-house.
The organization has been working with Aderant's legal business software for many years. To my satisfaction, except for one important point: the possibilities for reports and analyses. Martijn Diersmann, IT manager at Dommerholt Advocaten: “We made manual reports for a better insight into the performance of our business operations. These were put together by different teams and with different tools.
One source of truth
For example, the IT department managed several reports with Microsoft Reporting Services and our finance team mainly worked with Microsoft Excel. Also, our reporting processes were very slow, because they often involve large data sets. In essence, the well-known 'one source of truth' was missing.
An Aderant customer day was the trigger for Dommerholt Advocaten to start professionalizing the reporting and analysis processes.
